Reds in Edinburgh

The People’s Festival is co-presenting [along with the May Day Committee] an evening to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Russian Revolution in the Out of the Blue Arts Centre in Dalmeny Street Leith on Tuesday 9th October.

The Oscar nominated playwright Trevor Griffiths is coming up from Manchester for it – he co-wrote the film Reds with Warren Beatty- and will say a few words on the significance of the revolution. Also performing will be the fantastic stand up Vladimir McTavish -aka Paul Sneddon- and we will have music too.
