For international tourists wanting to visit all three of the Great British countries, there is no better way than to travel to and from the relevant capitals. The best way to do this is to start this adventure in London, then travel on to Edinburgh and finish the trip in the Welsh capital of Cardiff.
To really make the most out of the UK capital, it is wise to spend the most time in a central London hotel. Allow at least a four night break in order to be able to take in all of the top sights and attractions.
Then it will be on to the awesome and beautiful Scottish capital of Edinburgh. No other city in this great country of ours comes close to the grandeur of the architecture that you will find in Edinburgh. Book yourself a decent hotel for at least 3 nights here to be on the safe side.
Then it will be another train journey down to the Welsh capital of Cardiff. This is where you are likely to find the most reasonably priced hotel accommodation - so why not add on a couple of extra nights in order to explore far more of this principality.
Finally, it will be a short train journey back to London and you may just wish to add a few nights accommodation here before you have to make your way back home. We have mentioned taking a train in between the capitals in this article, but your own private hired car would work equally well and could prove to be the best option in order to explore more of Scotland and Wales especially.
